It’s zero degrees outside and there’s tiny piles of snow scattered randomly everywhere with more snow waiting to fall down. This is where I’m holed away while editing more beautiful weddings from the Margaret River summer so far. Funny how it’s the holiday season and I’m really enjoying the break as it allows me to focus and catch up on work without the distractions of back home. I’m just outside of Vienna in Austria and have been promised real snow this weekend so I’ve got my film camera with me along with rolls and rolls of black and white film, I’m in heaven! It’s been a tough few months personally with lots of changes happening around me and I’m going to make more of an effort to just stop sometimes and remind myself how beautiful life is… and take more pictures of pretty things.
So while I’m in catching up mode, I promise to put up some more blog posts from some very special weddings soon.
Happy holidays!

Clare and Nathan were married at Flametree Wines and celebrated the night away at The Goose. With their two gorgeous children and family and friends who traveled from near and far, their beautiful wedding was packed full of love and laughter as well as full of Clare’s attention to detail and awesome diy-ness. Enjoy!

I love Clare’s ribbon on her ballet slippers!

So much attention to detail throughout the whole day…

Sorry Nathan but I couldn’t help putting in this pic of you and the feather pen

The girls looked glam with their parasols…

…so did Nathan but the others weren’t so sure

And lastly, here’s a homage to Clare’s bnw styling – this talented lady made all the finishing touches to their reception.

Sharlene and Adrian [finally] tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at The Waterfront, Dunsborough with Natalie Venosi as their celebrant and Libby Jean for the blushing bride’s hair and make-up. For a midday ceremony the cloudy weather was perfect for photos at Castle Rock and in the vineyard at Wise before their gourmet lunch.

Laura and Nic secretly made their wedding plans to elope to Margaret River… with Vintage Bloom helping to organise their day, they had a gorgeous ceremony infront of the lake at Waterfall Cottages with celebrant Laurissa Knowles and then dined for lunch at Voyager Estate.

Salina and her gorgeous family are based in Singapore but regularly come down to Gnarabup to stay at their lovely holiday home, Bayu, and they had a family portrait session while they were here the other week… Her and Michael have two very beautiful and happy girls!

Baby Elli is so animated and such a happy baby. Here are some more family photos from their relaxed portrait session at home here in Margaret River.

Jay and Bree were given a voucher for a family portrait session as a gift for the arrival of baby Elizabeth… and what a cutie she’s turned out to be! I’m going to divide this shoot into two blog posts and dedicate this one solely to gorgeous Elli. More to come of the rest of the beautiful family tomorrow…
